Dear NDAWN data users, collaborators, friends:
NDAWN Center data server has been down because of the corrupted data since Monday, May 12. I realize that it just happened in the worst possible time while NDAWN data are mostly needed. Our functions here in NDAWN Center and the North Dakota State Climate Office depends on NDAWN data as well. Each time someone calls me from the field to ask me about the NDAWN status, makes me realize that the dimension of the impact is wider than we imagined. I apologize for all the inconveniences that this down-time caused. I promise that we are doing everything we could possibly do to bring NDAWN Center Server on-line as soon as possible. In the mean time, stations are functioning as usual. We have been downloading the data from the stations as usual. We just do not have a way of displaying the data on the web. In addition, the stations can be accessed via land line phone for the latest 10-min data. Thank you very much for your understanding. I will keep you posted on our progress. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Adnan Akyuz, Director
